individual psychotherapy
Sovereignty lies at the heart of my work with all my clients, and working 1:1 is the best setting to explore what it means to be yourself and to also care for yourself well. When you stand in your sovereignty, you feel connected to yourself and the world around you. There is a natural sense of confidence and ease in the way you move through the day and how you connect with others. Knowing yourself leads to this place. It is an invitation to meet yourself at a deeper, at a creative level. I work in an identity- and culture-affirming way.
My clinical focus lies on the integration of complex and collective trauma. Trauma, like resilience, can be transmitted through the lineage, and so I am finding that it is often helpful to bring a transgenerational and also transpersonal lens to the work of trauma. Sometimes this will mean the integration of ancestral resources. Other times, it will be important to pay attention to your dream imagery. Or perhaps you are looking to understand what it can mean to live authentically, to connect with a sense of purpose, to trust yourself, and to feel alive again. Philosophy and resonant wisdom teachings can help to make the therapy experience more meaningful. The experience of insight is inherently a joyful and expansive one.
Strength expresses itself in different ways, and the joy of our work together will be in picking up those threads in your life and weaving them back together in a pattern that makes sense.
