Lecture + Workshop:
Healing the Lineage : The Unlikely Survival of an Ancient Tattoo Tradition
I will be presenting my research on the ancient Balkan tattoo tradition (“sicanje” or “bocanje”) as an oral memory tradition and ancestral healing practice. I am especially excited to bring this topic and practice back to its homeland.
The lecture will be followed by a creative healing workshop in a 1:1 and small group setting.
